The role
We’re looking for a Senior Team Leader to join our Logistics Warehouse team! As a Senior Leader you’ll support the delivery of the Logistics Operational objectives in line with strategy and annual business plans. The role includes the effective management of specific operational processes, resource and people within the Logistics team. You’ll be passionate about providing an excellent customer experience for all internal and external customers within agreed objectives and SLA’s and you’ll work to drive change through a continuous improvement culture. You’ll also be responsible for managing 1-10 Team Leaders, who have 20 – 30 Team Members.
Shift pattern: 4 days on 4 days off. Your working hours will be 2pm – 1:30am.
Location: Our Logistics hub is located in Shaw, Oldham. It can be easily accessed via Tram which is just a few minutes walk away and we also offer free car parking for anyone who wishes to drive to the site.

What will you do as a Senior Leader at N Brown?
* You’ll lead, support, motivate, train, develop and performance manage the operational Logistics team members, working across multiple shifts 7 days a week (including bank holidays) to ensure Logistics Operational objectives are met through effective management.
* You’ll provide operational delivery of all Health & Safety and housekeeping requirements ensuring a safe and clean environment for all staff and visitors on the Logistics sites.
* You’ll achieve all production, compliance targets and SLA’s ensuring the most cost effective use of resource and services.
* You’ll deliver the departmental budgets through effective manpower planning, performance management. Review performance of area of responsibility and provide weekly cost analysis.
* You’ll deliver quality management through a Right First Time approach.
* You’ll actively support the company values program throughout the Logistics division, demonstrating use of company behaviours.
* You’ll identify process improvements and support implementation through the use of lean six sigma methodology to ensure the logistics operation is efficient and flexible to meet our customer demands.
