Do you come from a Control Engineering background and want to join a thriving company in the Renewable Energy business at one of their flagship sites where you can gain specialist and highly valuable experience in Sustainable Fuel production?
This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries. They have a number of new sites in planning, construction and commissioning phases across Scotland and are also beginning to move into other areas of Renewable Energy supported by the recent establishment of offices in England.
In this role you will be involved in the design, specification, delivery and commissioning of industrial control systems for Waste Processing and Sustainable Fuel production plants. This will involve things such as producing Functional Design Specifications & BOMs as well as inputting into upgrade projects and supporting with Factory Acceptance Testing.
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering qualification at HNC level or above in an Electrical or Controls Engineering discipline and ideally will have prior experience working in a process plant environment such as in the Oil & Gas, Water, Chemical Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industries.

The role:
* Assessing and specifying required Control System networks for site
* Producing BOMs for required hardware and software
* Producing Functional Design Specifications
* Leading on Factory Acceptance Testing
* Supporting with commissioning and validation activities during startup phase of new sites
* Troubleshooting for site programming and communication issues
The person:
* Educated to at least HNC/HND level in an Electrical or Control Systems Engineering discipline
* Previous experience gained in an industrial/production/process plant
* Demonstrable experience in designing control systems
* Full UK driving license and comfortable with travel to other sites around Scotland when required
