RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE WORKER (RCW) - THERAPEUTIC CHILDREN'S HOMES

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Childcare Workers (RCWs) in our therapeutic children's homes. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support, guidance, and care to children and young people who have experienced trauma and may have additional needs.
*Salary Range: £28,540.00 - £29,996.00 per annum. This salary is inclusive of seven sleep-in payments per month. Sleep-ins are remunerated at £55.00 per night, with employees able to undertake up to 10 sleep-ins per month. The stated salary is for full-time positions (pro rata for part-time) and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
*Golden Hello Incentive:
* £500 after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
* £500 after successful completion of twelve months' employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people in the home.
* Creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
* Providing practical and emotional support to children and young people, including daily routines and medical appointments.
* Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to provide a holistic support system for our young people.
* Maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential setting.
* A strong understanding of child development and the impact of trauma on children and young people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and caring approach to supporting children and young people.
* The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
