Our client, an SME based in Sunbury, is seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to manage their accounts.
This is a stand-alone role. The company offers a spacious, modern working environment and is ideally looking for someone to work in the office but may consider hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing & Director Dividends: Use Sage 50 Accounts to manage payroll and process dividends.
Bank Reconciliation: Balance accounts through online banking.
Purchase Ledger Management: Accurately track supplier invoices.
Customer Invoicing: Send invoices using Sharp-AX or similar software.
Account Reconciliation & Credit Control: Maintain accurate customer accounts, manage overdue payments, and ensure smooth cash flow.
Tax Filing & Compliance: Oversee digital tax compliance and handle HMRC tasks.
Import VAT Reclaims: Manage VAT reclaims for imports from Germany, China, and Canada.
Pensions & Employee Documents: Administer pensions through NEST, prepare P60s/P45s, and track employee holidays.
Coordination with Accountants: Send financial reports to the accounting team.
Filing & Organisation: Maintain a professional and organised system for financial records.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping.
Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
Proficiency in accountancy CRM packages; experience with Sage 50 is preferable.
Strong attention to detail.
