Remote/ occasional travel to Gloucester
Our client is a leading and growing national service provider recruiting for a Finance Assistant. A home working role with the occasional requirement to make it into their Gloucester offices, therefore candidates should be located close enough to happily undertake the odd journey. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will work closely with the wider finance/operations teams.
Duties of the role include:
1. Processing of purchase invoices
2. Supplier statement reconciliations
3. Posting cash journals
4. Dealing with supplier queries
5. Payment batch creation
6. General administration duties relating to the role.
7. Supporting other Finance departments with transnational support
8. Ad-hoc duties as required
To be successful in your application you will need to be highly organised and can work in set deadlines. You will be able to work within a team as well as on your own with a great attention to detail.
Ideally you will be an AAT studier, have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables/ v-lookups) and the ability to build rapport with both financial and non-financial team members.
