Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our organisation in Uxbridge, London. You will assist in the management and delivery of all requirements flowing from the cash management of the company’s mortgage portfolios. You will be joining a knowledgeable and dynamic finance team reporting to the Financial Operations Manager. As a Finance Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Responsibility for ensuring daily BACS files are collected Responsibility for entering daily transfer of funds to clients Managing the daily investigation of un-reconciled items Managing customer queries directed to the finance team from within the business Financial Reporting in relation to portfolios of mortgage accounts, including the preparation, review of ad hoc reports and the validation of systems generated reports Resolution of any queries from corporate stakeholders in relation to monthly reporting in a timely and professional manner Preparation of revenue invoicing, including review of servicing agreements and contracts and forecasting of future revenue Testing and set up of new transaction codes in the mortgage posting system Managing queries as they arise from previous servicers, clients, auditors and internal audit. Responsibility for setting up banking infrastructure including completing KYC documentation, bank account set-up, setting up Direct Debit accounts and bulk change transfers, card payment systems and DWP lender codes Responsibility for ensuring any post-migration cash is received from previous servicer and posted onto the accounts in a timely manner Essential Skills: Experience in daily bank reconciliation Experienced in BACS file management Self-reliant and self-motivated. Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines. Strong English verbal and written communication skills You will be accurate in your work, well organised and reliable. You will need good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent mathematical, analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
