Quality Assurance Manager
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in management? Rose Care Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our Devon portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, make a meaningful impact, and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking care group. No prior care experience is needed—we'll provide you with 12 weeks of comprehensive training in the Care Manager role, during which you will be paid at a rate of £15 per hour. Once training is successfully completed and signed off, your role will become salary-based, with compensation depending on experience, ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
We welcome candidates with various backgrounds, including those with experience in compliance management in other sectors (e.g. supermarkets) and those who have care experience at a managerial level (e.g. Deputy Manager, Clinical Leads, Team Leaders). Ensuring the best standards of care and regulatory adherence is central to our ethos of treating all residents like our own mothers and fathers.
Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll be the expert in our group’s policies, procedures, and systems. Your primary goal will be to identify any issues and create actionable plans to ensure our homes operate seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Training home managers and front-line staff.
* Supporting your Line Manager in developing impactful documents and training programs.
* Covering homes as an acting manager when needed (shared with the Operations team).
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure the smooth operation of each location, focusing on structural, financial, and operational compliance.
* Advise on quality assurance activities and consult with Directors on improvement initiatives.
* Embed audit and evaluation into the care service, manage ongoing audits, and report to Directors.
* Monitor operations for compliance with current legislation and notify Directors of any changes.
* Provide detailed reports on homes under your supervision to Directors.
