Brook Street Recruitment is working with our shipping client to recruit a Field Sales Executive who specialises in Shipping / Freight sales. Our client is one of Ireland top sea freight, LCL consolidators who sell to both neutral (other freight forwarders) and direct clients (actual importers and exporters)
Our client is a well establish organisation who operate their own consolidation and air freight services in Ireland - They are IATA air accredited in ROI and NI (UK accreditation)
They need someone who can sell to other freight companies and direct clients, air, road and sea consolidation services.
Responsibilities
1. Develop an entrance strategy for cold calling, qualifying and effectively connecting with prospective business partners.
2. Visiting customer/potential customers to promote the company services
3. Create and drive a sales plan strategy that successfully meets monthly sales goals and initiatives.
4. Utilise internal tools to negotiate market freight rates for customers
5. Negotiate internally to provide best rates for import and export.
6. Take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability and take lead / responsibility to support business.
7. Ensuring integrity & accuracy in all pricing matters.
8. Establish & maintain a strong working relationship with customers
9. Accuracy of all quotes, and timely issue to the customer.
10. New customers leading to new business.
