An exciting opportunity has arisen for a graduate to join a ‘Good’ secondary school in West Bromwich as an SEN Learning Mentor. This role is perfect for someone with a strong academic background and a keen interest in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in assisting KS4 pupils across the national curriculum. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, ensuring that every pupil has the tools and encouragement needed to succeed.
A significant part of the role involves developing and delivering differentiated learning materials to meet individual needs. You will also help build pupils’ confidence, engagement, and academic progress while fostering an inclusive learning environment.
This full-time role starts immediately and runs until July 2025. It offers a daily rate of £70 to £80, providing a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school setting.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree, possess a strong academic record, and demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young people. A proactive attitude and a commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning are essential.
