Travis Perkins has a really exciting opportunity for an Account Director to join the business take full responsibility for the growth and development of the House Builders and Regional Developer customers. This is a new and developing focus within Travis Perkins strategy and will involve the Account Director developing long lasting strategic relationships and achieving optimum ‘share of wallet’ of material spend to help grow and develop our Regional House Builder proposition.

What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with the customer, coordinating all activities on behalf of TP to create value and enhance the overall fantastic customer experience. Through strong internal relationships you'll influence the business to ensure the customers' needs and requirements are met whilst pulling together the value propositions on their respective product categories. Whilst our focus is on our customer relationship, we also believe that our suppliers are as equally important, by ensuring they have a platform to offer the best to our customers, through innovation and adding value, you’ll work closely with them to drive profitable growth.
Is this you?
To be selected in this role you will come from an external sales background and have proven history in winning new business, ideally within the house building market but this is not essential. You will have a flair for sales, be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills whilst being able to influence key stakeholders. Customer focused, good negotiator and sound commercial awareness will all help you to be the best within this role. You will also have project management experience as this a key to developing success for our customers.
