About the Role:
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll take a central role in managing and optimising our ADP payroll systems, ensuring that every aspect of payroll runs seamlessly across the UK, ROI, and Jersey. You’ll collaborate closely with our HR and Finance teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services.
This is more than just a payroll role; you’ll be the in-house ADP expert, solving technical challenges, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies and providing essential support to your colleagues. Your responsibilities will span everything from managing employee data and statutory filings to producing insightful payroll reports and leading year-end processes. With your expertise and proactive approach, you’ll help us continue to build a workplace that supports and values every team member.

Manage monthly payroll processing for employees across the UK, Republic of Ireland (ROI), and Jersey, using ADP systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely delivery.
Act as the ADP system expert, resolving technical issues, improving workflows, and providing training and support to HR and Finance teams.
Set up and manage ADP workflows for new joiners, leavers, and changes to contracts, ensuring processes run smoothly across all regions.
Ensure payroll complies with the regulations of the UK, ROI, and Jersey.
Regularly audit payroll data to ensure it is correct and compliant, while identifying opportunities to improve processes or the use of systems.
Work with HR to keep employee information accurate and up to date in ADP, ensuring seamless reporting and integration across all regions.
Produce and analyse payroll reports, including summaries, variance reports, and ad-hoc requests, to support management decisions. Person Specification:
Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processing using ADP systems.
Knowledge of payroll regulations across the UK, ROI, and Jersey.
Expertise in configuring and optimising ADP workflows for starters, leavers, and contract changes.
Advanced user of ADP systems, with strong troubleshooting and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll data and processes.
Effective communicator, supporting HR and Finance teams on ADP system usage.
Proactive, solution-focused, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Proven experience of identifying and managing payroll process improvements
Knowledge of HR shared service centre models.
