Job Posting Title: Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, Vice President
State Street is seeking a strategic cyber threat intelligence analyst to conduct all-source cyber intelligence analysis and production within the global Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team. The ideal candidate will exhibit an innovative mindset and proven capacity for identifying, analyzing, and reporting cyber threats related to the financial sector and to State Street. Duties will include supporting strategic intelligence operations within the CTI team utilizing the full intelligence lifecycle. In this role, the candidate will use their understanding of bad actors, motivations, capabilities, and attack vectors to identify threats looking to target State Street. The candidate will conduct research, write papers, and present briefings to ensure staff and executives are made aware of emerging and trending threats as they relate to State Street and the financial sector. We are looking for creative thinkers and self-starters who possess the skills and experience to work alone and with teams to develop new analytic capabilities and support fusion operations.
Who are we looking for:
A CTI Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing and responding to threats confronting State Street and the financial sector. CTI staff analyzes cyber threats targeting the financial sector and applies this analysis to Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, insider threat, and business requirements while ensuring that senior leaders are advised of current and ongoing threats allowing them to make informed decisions.
What will you be responsible for:
1. Collecting requirements from stakeholders and conducting research and analysis to provide timely and actionable intelligence that drives and informs the security posture of the bank.
2. Analyzing and understanding advanced cyber actors, their capabilities, and their techniques.
3. Working side by side with internal network defenders to provide intel-driven insights into existing and emerging threats.
4. Championing intelligence for broadening awareness and use of CTI services and education of best practices.
5. Processing and analyzing large data sets to identify trending of threat activity across the network and global threat landscape.
6. Influencing enhancements to preventative and detective controls.
7. Delivering timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence through reports, briefings, and threat assessments to stakeholders across the bank to improve our ability to detect threats in our environment.
8. Participating in incident response preparedness exercises (e.g. table tops & cyber ranges) as well as response to actual incidents.

18. Familiarization with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
19. Knowledge of IT architecture and operations (computing, network, storage & cloud)
20. Ability to work in an environment with a geographically dispersed team.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
21. 5+ years working in intelligence supporting large organization required, cyber intelligence preferred
22. BS in a Cyber Security related field such as Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred; study in fields such as geopolitics, international relations, and political science with demonstrated cyber proficiency also highly desired
23. Completion of an intelligence community or military analytic training program preferred
24. Security certifications a plus: CISSP, IFPC, CISM, IAC
25. Previous experience producing strategic analysis for intelligence consumers, including senior leadership and/or operational teams, preferred
26. Demonstrated substantive expertise in an area of strategic intelligence interest preferred
27. Past success standing up intelligence capabilities under a fusion operating model, including analytic tool suites and new product offerings, a plus
28. Software development and/or scripting experience a plus: Python, Powershell, etc.
29. Financial services experience preferred
30. Foreign language proficiency in Russian, Chinese, or other high-priority intelligence language a plus
