Objectives Run all key reporting – trade, performance, and store replenishment Planning and managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability Collaborating with marketing teams to develop effective product promotions and campaigns Coordinating with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to stores Analysing customer feedback and sales data to identify product improvements and new product development opportunities Responsibilities Creating and maintaining product catalogues and databases Preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries to ensure timely receipt of products Analysing and reporting on sales data to identify opportunities for product optimisation and pricing adjustments Markdown plans set up by channel – communicating with key stakeholders, support to manage full process Set up, and manage OTB document, WSSI, Category Plans, Flow cards, Cost of sales analysis Support the team to set up and maintain category WSSI‘s as appropriate highlighting points to discuss & action Update and re-forecast the WSSI’s weekly and highlight the terminal stock risk to the team Ensure sufficient stock levels of continuity and seasonal product through regular reordering and forecasting with suppliers Developing pricing strategies and monitoring price changes in the market, and marketplaces Conducting regular store visits to monitor product displays and inventory levels Involvement in the set up of buy plans, boutique buying Support on building assortment plans by territory Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree At least 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the fashion or retail industry, and brand background ideally Luxury experience is ideal Experience in cost analysis, pricing and profitability management. Understanding of quality control procedures and standards Preferred skills and qualifications Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control and procurement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ideally a super user of Excel, Shopify and Zedonk preferred.
