Job Summary
The SGV Marketing Manager is a newly created role with responsibility for development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans for our global team. Carrying a broad remit, responsibilities will include marketing strategy, messaging and asset development, PR and digital. A strong can-do attitude will be combined with a high level of internal and external collaboration, including working closely with Professional Affairs colleagues, distribution partners and agencies. The role will require a willingness to embrace variety and change and adapt to evolving needs within a small team.
The Marketing Manager will report to the Senior Director – Global Commercial Head, SightGlass Vision.
This role is ideally full time but some flexibility in working hours will be considered. We will also consider a degree of hybrid working if required.
What you will do
* Support development of market strategies and plans for SightGlass Vision
* Take responsibility for brand management including collateral production and management.
* Define and develop product claims and messaging in close partnership with SGV PMarkerofessional Affairs colleagues
* Manage SightGlass Vision social media platforms including release calendar and defining and tracking KPIs to optimize performance
* Own the sightglassvision.com website, maintaining it with relevant content for our target audiences
* Develop regular content for social channels to support communication to our target audiences
* Manage SGV PR, working closely with our PR agency, internal team and distribution partners
* Work closely with distribution partners to Identify and respond to their needs and opportunities
* Own the SightGlass Vision corporate and product brands, ensuring communication and implementation of clear guidelines
Travel: Occasional travel
What you will bring
Experience:
* At least 4 years of marketing experience
* Experience in opthalmic lens marketing desirable
* Marketing experience to include strategy campaign, messaging and asset development, digital and social management
* Ability to collaborate effectively with a large number of players (distributors, communications agencies, internal stakeholders) all in a complex international environment
* Experience working and collaborating with multi located, multi-cultural teams desirable
* Working with multiple short & long term projects
* Experience in working with technical products, medical devices preferable
Education:
Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent qualification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
* Analytical and process oriented
* Curious, open minded, strong learning abilities
* A high level of flexibility ranging from strategy development to day to day execution
* Fluent in English
* Ability to deal with multiple short & long term projects.
* Strong communication, presentation, verbal and writing skills
* Comfortable to operate independently
