The candidate will be responsible to the firm as a whole for the effective and efficient conduct
of the client’s case, in accordance with the overall policies and objectives of the firm, and for
pro-active development and promotion of the firm’s high standards and reputation.
This opportunity is for a qualified OISC Registered Immigration Advisor (Level 2 or 3) to work within
an existing Casework team, managing their own caseload with the assistance of Paralegals
and assisting with the preparing of applications, both within and outside the Points Based
System. Examples of work include Business Immigration (Points Based, Global Mobility,
Global Talent, Innovator) and Personal Immigration (Skilled Worker, Appendix FM and
Nationality).
Candidates should have a good technical knowledge and experience working in all aspects
of private immigration law including:
Skilled Worker Visas
Global Talent & Global Mobility Visas
Innovator Visa
Entry clearance applications (visitor visas/ spouse applications/family members)
Nationality Law/ Naturalisation
Appeals & Judicial Reviews
Sponsor License and Compliance/Audits
In terms of personal skills, the candidate is expected to demonstrate:
1-3 years PQE in private immigration law
Ability to work autonomously on complex legal matters
Attention to detail – a high level of accuracy is essential
Ability to manage a busy workload and Team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player and enthusiastic
Professional in conduct and appearance at all times
Experience of Tribunal/court proceedings
Exemplary client care skills
Maintaining time-recording and financial records and supplying such financial
information as may be required by the SRA or the firm
Salary:
£35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience.
