Location: Telford. Hybrid – client visits and office based and home.
Contract Type: Ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £34 per hour (assignment rate)
Shift Pattern: Full time

Duties:
* Manage a caseload and carry out assessments of adults and older people with various levels of complexity.
* Identify risks and develop plans to manage or reduce risk.
* Promote constructive relationships with adults, their families, and partner agencies.
* Provide Occupational therapy interventions to reduce or delay the person's needs.
* Work in partnership with a range of statutory, independent, and voluntary services to develop and implement care plan objectives.
* Participate in group meetings and support an ethos of learning and development.
* Contribute to the training of students and newly qualified workers.
* Supervise delegated tasks to unqualified workers.
* Provide expert professional opinion and support the practice of colleagues.
* Uphold quality standards and cost-effectiveness of service.
* Make decisions in respect of care issues with adults and their families.
Requirements of the Adult Social Care Occupational Therapist:
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent NHS experience.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Experience in adult and older people's Occupational Therapy, including assessment and care approaches.
* Experience demonstrating the ability to meet the requirements of the Professional Capabilities Framework.
* A person-centred approach reflecting the skill set of the Occupational Therapist.
* Car driver.
