Aptia have new opportunities for GMP Project Coordinators to join the team and focus on key project work across a diverse client base.
In this role, you will ensure the process (of GMP Rectification, GMP Equalisation and implementing GMPs) within the wider GMP Project team is well managed. This will involve being the main point of contact for internal and external parties on all queries, ensuring that the overall project planning is maintained, other scheme projects are identified, and tasks and dates are aligned.
This role will be aligned to an Aptia Office in the UK on a hybrid-working basis.
What you'll be doing:
* Attending kick off planning calls to agree the project scope, provide feedback on and put together budgets for once work has started, flagging in advance where the agreed scope is expected to exceed agreed budget or any out of scope work
* Confirm requirements, budget allocation, tracking and timescales
* Reviewing and maintaining budget trackers regularly to ensure accurate time recording and awareness of the progress against the GMP project admin budgets
* Communicating potential changes to project timescales at an early stage with relevant team members, stakeholders and sometimes clients or Trustees
* Arranging planning calls for the phases of work, including handover calls between separate teams as the work is moved across separate tasks
* Maintain a basic project plan for each scheme under your control from an Admin perspective with additional project notes to ensure any relevant information is maintained through the project lifecycle
* Maintaining communications between each party (internal or external) and ensuring that projects are moving through the process Managing any additional requirements or bespoke projects to ensure client needs are catered for
* Assisting resource management teams to schedule in projects within the overall department
* Working alongside data teams and system implementation teams to provide support where necessary
What we're looking for:
* Good knowledge of GMP and DB pensions schemes and legislation is essential.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to relate to people at all levels
* Organised, able to plan and prioritise under pressure
* Good basic project management skills
* Strong systems knowledge, especially MS Word and Excel
