About The Role :
We are partnered with several well regarded Secondary Schools in Stowmarket and the surrounding areas and are actively looking for Cover Supervisors to start working immediately.
As a Cover Supervisor, you play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education when regular teachers are absent. You will help students with their work, answering questions and providing guidance as needed and implementing school policies regarding behaviour, promoting a respectful and focused classroom atmosphere.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will:
1. Inspire and support students to ensure each one thrives academically, using your educational knowledge and expertise
2. Adapt supervisory techniques to complement individual learning styles, effectively responding to diverse skill levels and behaviours
3. Communicate seamlessly, building strong connections with fellow teaching staff and fostering trust with our aspiring students. Emotional intelligence is paramount in your interactions!
4. Maintain composure, patience, and understanding; the academic environment can be dynamic, and your ability to stay calm and assess support needs is crucial.
A candidate 'Must Have':
5. An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this!)
6. Eligibility to work in the UK (No Sponsorships Provided)
7. Willingness to do Cover Supervisor work with a wide range of children
8. Previous experience working with children in a school or classroom environment is preferred but not essential!
