THE HR ADVISOR
Our manufacturing client is recruiting for an HR Advisor within the business to work at their site. The role will include assisting with all aspects of HR activity and managing the day-to-day activities of Human Resources.
Naturally, the HR Advisor role has wide-ranging responsibilities and duties will include:
* Recruitment – recruitment & selection, updating job descriptions, conducting interviews & assessment tests, referencing, and ID validation.
* Manage sickness and absence, advising management/line managers and coordinating/managing long-term absence.
* Providing advice and guidance to all employees on HR issues. Advising and setting up of company policies and procedures and ensuring practices meet legislative requirements and best practice models.
* Undertaking generalist HR meetings – disciplinary, grievances, inductions, and management meetings.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We really need someone experienced who can hit the ground running from day 1! This is a fast-paced manufacturing site, and ideally, we need someone from an FMCG/manufacturing business.
* You will have a strong background in HR as an HR Advisor or Officer.
* CIPD qualified or to degree standard.
* Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
