Purpose
Lead and manage design and engineering projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients, agents, suppliers, and internal departments to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate internal and external mass production of Cathelco products by ensuring engineering drawings meet industry standards and reflect design intent accurately.
* Develop new designs, including cost analysis, testing, and reporting.
* Create and edit 3D and 2D components and assemblies in SolidWorks, adhering to drawing office procedures and applicable standards.
* Review and revise products and drawings related to ICCP, MGPS, RO, and Hot Water product lines, aligning with production and purchasing needs.
* Track and document design changes through Engineering Change Requests and Orders, following the correct processes.
* Prepare and submit project-based documents, drawings, calculations, and tests within deadlines.
* Develop detailed pipework and instrumentation drawings for various systems and components.
* Respond promptly and accurately to technical queries.
* Perform engineering analysis and associated documentation during design or troubleshooting phases.
* Lead sourcing efforts and conduct prototype testing according to company procedures.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent level of experience.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and ePDM is essential.
* Knowledge of engineering requirements and design-for-manufacture processes, adhering to industry standards.
* Basic electrical knowledge or experience (preferred but not essential).
* Familiarity with SAP (advantageous).
