HTP Apprenticeship college is seeking to recruit an additional member of staff for our Apprenticeship Team due to growth in the Business, Management & HR programmes. Candidates must be occupationally competent ideally to supervisory or management level with recent & relevant industry experience in a business environment.
Enthusiasm, thriving on working in a results-driven environment & being committed to the success of apprentices are essential qualities that will be required. The role is both challenging & rewarding and will involve a mixture of knowledge-based coaching & training, assessing in the workplace & off-the-job training delivery in a class or virtual environment. It is likely that candidates will work and mentor a mixed case load of apprentices undertaking programmes between levels 2 & 5 in Business, Management, Customer service, Quality Practitioner & HR.
Previous experience & qualifications in assessing, verifying & teaching would all be desirable, but are not essential as HTP will support suitable candidates to acquire such experience & qualifications should they demonstrate the necessary drive & determination to succeed.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Access to their own transport as the posts will involve visiting learners & employers in the workplace.
2. A good academic level of both Maths & English (minimum GCSE Grade C or 4).
3. Recent Industry experience, ideally at a supervisory or management level & or in HR.
4. Excellent organisational & communication skills.
This post is full time (5 days) and is a permanent position attracting a good remuneration & benefits package dependent upon experience & qualifications. The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a range of training & development which will be fully supported by HTP. Please note that an HTP working day is from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday & 9am to 4:30pm Friday.
