Key Responsibilities of the Special Education Needs Teacher:
* Develop and deliver high-quality, personalised teaching plans for students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Work closely with other professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies, to create a multi-disciplinary approach to student development.
* Provide assessments and reports to track the progress of students and adjust learning strategies as needed.
* Create a safe and supportive learning environment where all students feel confident to express themselves and achieve their full potential.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
* Help to build an inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes equality.
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent with experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN).
* A strong understanding of the various types of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.
* Passion for making a difference and improving the educational outcomes of students with SEN.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
* Adaptability and the ability to respond to the needs of individual students in a creative and supportive way.
