Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler on behalf of a client based in Halesfield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
1. Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
2. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
3. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
4. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
5. Collaborate with team members to optimise assembly processes and improve efficiency.
6. Assist in the inventory management of parts and materials used in the assembly process.
Qualifications
1. Proven mechanical knowledge, with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
2. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
3. Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is essential.
4. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently.
6. Good communication skills, with the ability to report issues or improvements effectively.
Hours of Work
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am-pm and Friday 7am-1pm. Temp to perm.
