What you’ll be doing
Work with other team members to help complete audits reviews (primarily of IT and Change) in accordance with the requirements set out within the Internal Audit Manual, producing high quality outputs.
Communicate clearly and on a timely basis to relevant stakeholders, contributing to discussions with other team members.
Undertake as requested any hoc reviews / projects, including system / procedural changes.
This role is a Level 4 Internal Audit Practitioner apprenticeship leading to the IIA Certificate in Internal Audit and Business Risk and the Internal Audit Practitioner. Additionally, following completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential to gain a professional qualification in IT auditing e.g. CISA (subject to internal approval).
About You
What you’ll bring to the team
You will be educated to degree level and keen to gain a professional qualification in IT auditing.
You will have an understanding of IT and a desire to develop knowledge of how IT enables business solutions (systems, landscapes, environments) and manages the associated business risks that may be supplemented through awareness IT Frameworks and Change methodologies.
You will have the ability to analyse and evaluate data in a constructive and effective manner.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively and confidently both in writing and verbally.
You will be able to demonstrate a pro-active, self-motivated and professional approach with a commitment to learn new skills and competencies.
You will be provided with significant management support for all aspects of the role.
