About the position
The successful candidate for our Service Advisor position will have previous experience in a similar role and proven customer service skills.
You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product.
In addition the Service Advisor duties below the main part of this role is as an “upselling advisor” to work next to the workshop controller.
This will involve controlling the Electronic Health check process, phoning customers while the cars are in the workshop in order to obtain authority for identified work.
You will be a direct line to the workshop and also to the Service Advisors making sure we maximize any extra work we identify and helping the Workshop Controller get the vehicles through the workshop.
Good telephone manner, with clear communication skills and of a high IT standard. Previous RTC and Kerridge experiential desirable.
1. Booking vehicles into the technical workshop.
2. Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles’ progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time.
3. Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their car is in our workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers.
4. Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training.
5. Adopting a sales approach regarding upsell.
6. Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

Salary and Hours
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and alternative Saturdays
Salary: Basic £27,000 OTE £35,000
