Purchase Ledger Clerk - 6 Months
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the automotive industry? Look no further! Our client, a tyre company based in Micheldever is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department.
Based in Micheldever every Monday and offering the flexibility of remote work for the rest of the week, this role provides a perfect balance between office collaboration and the convenience of working from home. The working hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
This role is initially 6 month temporary, with the potential to extend of become permanent.
Responsibility for processing purchase ledger invoices on a timely basis, maintaining accurate ledger accounts and a professional relationship with the business and its suppliers.
Responsibilities:
1. Process and code invoices and reconcile statements in a timely manner
2. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
3. Prompt resolution of supplier queries
4. Preparing payment runs for authorisation
5. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
6. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
While previous experience within accounts is preferred, it is not essential for this role. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
Ideally you will be available to start immediately, or within 1 week’s notice.
