We are seeking to recruit a new graduate to join our team and undertake a scheduled training programme. This role involves a combination of post-mortem examinations, site visits, sampling, diagnostics and data interpretation to investigate health, performance and welfare issues for our clients.
The successful applicant will follow a training and mentorship programme supervised by experienced poultry veterinarians, whom hold post-graduate qualifications in poultry medicine. This will include, but is not limited to:
2. Post-mortem examination
3. Sampling procedures and microbiology techniques
4. Interpretation of serological, molecular diagnostic and production data
5. On-farm training to understand management requirements of different production systems
6. Shadowing mentors on site visits, followed by supported independent visits
