My client, one of the UK’s housing associations, are looing for a Legal Service Manager to join their litigation team in the London office. To be considered for the position you should be a qualified legal professional with excellent experience in litigation and ideally have experience with social housing. As a Legal Service Manager, you will focus primarily on ASB and should be confident in managing your own caseload.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Legal Services (Litigation) team, demonstrating organisational values and fostering a positive team culture
Oversee the ASB workstream, ensuring timely and effective responses to critical cases, including those involving domestic abuse
Create and maintain tools, templates, and precedents to ensure consistency and efficiency in legal practices
Deliver training and provide guidance to team members and internal stakeholders on ASB and related legal issues
Handle a personal caseload of housing management litigation, including ASB, tenancy fraud, and possession matters
Prepare and review legal documents, such as claim forms, injunctions, and witness statements
Provide updates on ASB-related cases to senior management and key stakeholders
Work with internal teams and external partners to improve processes and ensure effective case resolution
