Great opportunity to work as an ETL Developer based in Belfast!
Location: Belfast (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Contract duration: Until 30/06/2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the state of digital capabilities, leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Markets to reduce reliance upon manual processes and end user computing tools
- Use Data modelling & business knowledge skills to interface with the development team & business stakeholders
- Perform ETL transformations using scripting languages to cleanse data, map reference data and prep for usage in downstream reporting tools
- Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
- Maintaining & managing existing reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
- Ensure a high-level of data quality by performing unit testing enabling stakeholders and partners to obtain accurate information in a timely manner
- Reviewing and improving existing data sources and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
- Perform monthly reporting tasks from data collection, prepping to distribution of manual reports with automation is underway
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline
- Ideally 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience in Scripting Languages (Python) – Must
- Experience working with ETL tools like Tableau prep – Must
- Hands-on experience in data handling, cleansing & exception management - Must
- Experience in working with relational / non-relational data bases to turn into insights – Advantage
- Previous experience with Dashboarding & Reporting tools - Advantage
