About the role:
Liquid Personnel have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager or Deputy Manager to open and develop a four bedded, long term residential home for children and young people. You will be working for an outstanding provider who currently have a cluster of children’s residential homes throughout Oxfordshire.

Your key responsibilities as the Registered Manager:
As this is a new home the successful candidate will be on board from the beginning and take a lead in shaping and developing the home, its systems, procedures, and protocols. You will motivate and lead a staff team to ensure the highest level of care is provided to children with behavioural and emotional difficulties. You will also establish and maintain standards and monitor the delivery of high quality, child centred care to children and young people referred to the home in accordance with policies and procedures. You will proactively lead the staff team, consistently in conjunction with the deputy with the aim of creating and delivering a safe warm environment in which children and young people can achieve positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Registered Manager/Deputy Manager role
2. Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
3. Either have, or be working towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent
4. Strong working knowledge of Ofsted, the Children’s Homes regulations, health, and safety legislation, COSHH, and other relevant legislation
5. Experience of working with and managing challenging behaviour including attachment and trauma
