About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager looking to expand their customer base within the Grocery channel while ensuring profitability.
As a Senior Channel Development Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of brands and products, leading proficient project management and managing P&L and budgetary responsibilities.
The key emphasis will be on enhancing the distribution and activation of our brands in terms of both quality and quantity, collaborating closely with internal teams (Marketing, NPD, ROB, Planning & Category) to devise and implement strategies for packaging formats and product ranges aimed at accelerating growth.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled negotiator to drive sustainable growth while delivering exceptional customer service, requiring regular UK-wide travel to see customers and weekly visits to our main sites for team meetings.
* Highly educated, with a degree or strong academic background
* High Street Discounter background and/or retail experience
* 3+ years' experience within the Grocery channel
* Experience working within an FMCG environment
* P&L Management
* Ability to negotiate & agree terms and secure incremental activity
* Excellent forecasting skills
* Prepared to travel UK-wide for customer and Head Office meetings
