Come and join our fantastic team of hard-working Support Workers who really make a difference to support the mental health and wellbeing of our tenants in our supported housing at The Green Road in Sawston.
We are looking for an open-minded, person-centred individual who can provide high levels of one-to-one support with all aspects of daily living such as cooking, shopping, and budgeting as well as providing emotional support.
Salary: £25,000.00 per annum
PLUS earn up to £65 per sleep-in shift (once passed probation)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Shift: 6-week rota
A trainee would be considered for this role – please indicate on the application form.
We are also looking for a relief worker at a rate of £13.77 per hour - please state on your form 'Relief' if interested in this 0-hour role.
About you:
* Experience of working in supported housing OR willingness to learn
* Awareness of welfare rights and benefits
* Willingness to help and encourage individuals to take part in all aspects of the service and to undertake everyday tasks
* Be able to provide personal and emotional assistance to people in their recovery from mental health problems
* Possess basic IT and Administration skills
