Digital Marketing Officer, Clitheroe

We are looking for an experienced and strategic marketing professional to form an integral part of this growing, creative and friendly marketing and admissions team within this prestigious school based in Clitheroe.
You will play a vital role, using your proven experience and creative input to contribute to the department's strategic aims and support the development and deployment of marketing campaigns to support the school’s admission activities and promote events.
This is a full-time, permanent role with working hours of Monday – Friday and the role requires the post holder to work on site at the school due to the nature of the sector and role to be performed.
Your new role
1. Assist with the planning and delivery of the annual marketing plan and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities.
2. Optimise all website content considering SEO and regularly maintain the school websites.
3. Write regular blog articles in line with current campaigns and times of the year.
4. Manage multiple Pay Per Click campaigns to support each stage of the conversion funnel using Google, Bing and Microsoft Ads (Search & display).
5. Create and manage multiple paid social media campaigns (Meta, X, Threads and LinkedIn).
6. Contribute to social media planning, scheduling and idea generation.
7. Support in the management of iSAMS/ internal portals.
8. Track digital performance using a number of platforms against an agreed set of KPIs.
9. Good knowledge of using Google Tag Manager to set up conversions and track additional parameters.
10. Brief marketing collateral to the in-house Graphic Designer and managing the design process.
11. Researchpetitor activity and best practice from both within and outside the sector.
12. Support in budget management.
13. To be familiar with relevant policies and procedures and to take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children and young people in school.
14. Carry out other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time within the context of the post.
What you'll need to succeed
15. Strong, proven experience in a digital marketing role.
16. Proven experience of delivering effective paid social media campaigns.
17. A relevant qualification within the marketing field.
18. Ideally, experience in, or a knowledge of, the education sector.
19. Experience in website content creation and management.
20. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, video editing software and a practical knowledge of design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
21. A high level of written and verbalmunication.
22. Self-motivated with the ability to manage own priorities, work on concurrent projects and deliver high-quality results to meet pre-agreed deadlines.
23. The ability to work and deliver under pressure, problem-solving with confidence and excellent decision-making skills.
