Key Responsibilities for the Registered Children's Home Manager
1. Home Management: Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and National Minimum Standards.
2. Care Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality care with a focus on emotional support, safety, and development.
3. Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate your skilled staff team, fostering effective teamwork and encouraging personal growth.
4. Quality Assurance: Maintain and monitor the highest care standards, ensuring the home meets all Ofsted requirements.
5. Communication & Partnership: Collaborate with young people, families, and external agencies to address each child's individual needs.
6. Safety & Compliance: Ensure the Gillingham home adheres to all Health and Safety policies, creating a secure and supportive environment.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
1. Qualifications: Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
2. Experience: A minimum of 1 year as a Registered Manager with a successful track record in the Ofsted inspection process.
