Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance is part of Anglian Water's network. The IOS was set up in 2015 to concentrate on water recycling solutions and the clean water base covering Mechanical, Electrical & Civil Engineering works. The maintenance and refurbishment of the key infrastructure is managed by the partners consisting of Kier, Barhale & Morrisons. We ensure everything is maintained and improvements made where necessary to ensure the infrastructures longevity and effectiveness.
The IOS team are expanding to support the increased in works as we head into AMP8 and beyond, an exciting time to join the team!
What will you be responsible for?
Based from a designated site in the area, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of supervisors, delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. You'll look to ensure resources are utilised correctly to ensure efficiency is achieved and we optimise the workforce to meet deadlines.
You'll also be responsible for carrying out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality and performance standards and ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and Anglian Water's approved standards including POSWSH.
Your day to day will include:
Accountable for SHEQ performance of projects, including undertaking and record findings of periodic SHEQ visits
Responsible for all Health & Safety issues on site, completing paperwork such as weekly inspections, tool-box talks, site specific risk assessments & method statements
Act as a Health & Safety ambassador across the organisation by driving cultural change into recycling techniques, workshop recharges, standing time etc
Oversee the management of multiple concurrent projects by proactively managing site based supervisors and delivery teams ensuring safety, quality and time frames drive performance
Delivering projects in line with tender allowance and agreed programmes of work
Proactively support planning responsibilities to ensure initiatives are implemented with minimal disruption, these include: resourcing, project requirements and estiamtions
Procurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors using an appropriate financial management accounting system to ensure projects are delivered within tender allowances

Experience of Mechanical & Electrical alongside your water industry knowledge
SMSTS & CSCS card
Commercial awareness
Full driving licence
