IT Security & Governanace Analyst to join a dynamic IT team paying up to 45k based near Chester. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's security posture by focusing on governance, risk, and compliance. There is an element of Hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular security assessments and audits
* Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
* Monitor security incidents and respond effectively
* Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed
* Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends
* Assist in the implementation and management of security tools and technologies
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices
* Expertise in Cyber Essentials
* Experience in ITGC (IT General Controls)
* Knowledge of ITIL and other IT processes
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
