Salary: Actual salary £19,415.37 - £26,715.41 (FTE £37,668.80 - £51,832.00) dependant on experience
Hours: 24 hours per week (3 days) - Term time only
Our private sector client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support the Therapy Service at their SEMH school in Berkeley, on a part time permanent basis.
About the school:
The school provides tailored education to pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, combining the best elements of a mainstream school and the best elements of a special school.
Key responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children with complex needs, autistic spectrum conditions, sensory needs and attachment difficulties
Analyse and interpret assessments to recommend and deliver the best course of intervention for each child.
Provide a high standard of occupational therapy assessment and intervention to children and young people, including advice and training to relevant parents, carers and professionals in line with proposed treatment plans.Requirements:
A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Member of RCOT.
