Description
A role as a Maintenance technician in a multi-skilled maintenance team, responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of HBS, arrivals, and central search CT Xray / ATRS systems at LLA covering 24 hours a day / 365 days a year, working a 5 week shift pattern of 12 hour days and nights.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Technical
* Fault finding skills on ATRS / CT Xray, automated PLC / SCADA controlled systems.
Time Management
* Able to manage on shift time effectively.
Communication
* Good communication skills with customers.
* Record keeping, spares usage, and shift reports via PPM management system.
* Hand over any outstanding issues to oncoming shift.
Team Working
* Working as part of a team with 2 maintenance technicians per 12 hour shift.
Cross Functional Working
* Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects.
* Point of contact for LLA baggage system manager if maintenance manager is unavailable.
Health & Safety
* Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures.
* Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE are properly used.

Requirements
Skills & Attributes
* Multi-skilled technician with Electronic, Electrical/Mechanical experience.
* Fault finding on control panels, network, and field bus systems.
* Fault finding on conveyor systems.
* Planned maintenance on Electrical/Mechanical systems.
* Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
* Good communication skills.
* PC literate with ability to structure and write reports.
Experience
* Proven experience of reactive and planned maintenance.
* Checkable 5 year work history to obtain airside pass.
* DBS.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds / HNC / HND, Electronic / Electrical / Mechanical or Equivalent.
