About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Operations Recruiter to join our growing team. This role will collaborate with the Operations team and external partners to manage high-volume hiring, including drivers (Class 3-7) and other operational roles, to support Gatik’s expanding delivery network. You will oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to onboarding, ensuring all hires meet company and regulatory standards. This position offers substantial growth potential and the opportunity to shape recruitment strategies and processes as we scale.
This role will be onsite 5 days in our Mountain View, CA headquarters.
What you will do
* Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume hiring pipelines, focusing on operational roles and truck drivers to meet company targets and deadlines.
* Leverage data-driven insights to evaluate, refine, and optimize recruitment and interview processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
* Partner with external vendors to enhance sourcing strategies, streamline processes, and improve the overall hiring experience.
* Attract, evaluate, and interview candidates, ensuring all pre-screening and onboarding activities, including compliance with FMCSA and DOT standards for drivers, are completed.
* Act as an advocate for Gatik’s mission and culture, effectively communicating the benefits of joining our team, with a special focus on key roles such as Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVO).
* Build diverse talent pipelines using innovative sourcing methods.
* Continuously refine recruitment practices to enhance candidate experience, process efficiency, and quality of hires.
* Provide leadership with actionable insights on recruitment process improvements, based on data analysis and collaboration with hiring teams.
What we’re looking for
* 5+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, preferably within Operations, Support, Sales, Warehouse, or the Trucking/Transportation industries.
* Proven experience managing third-party vendors and collaborating with external sourcing partners.
* Strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT requirements for driver compliance.
* Flexible and team-oriented approach, with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
* Personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
* BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience recruiting in a fast-growing startup environment is preferred.
