Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Location: Leicester
Salary: £50K-60K DOE (option for vehicle/allowance)
The Role:
- Reporting to the Managing Director
- Attending and contributing at pre, mid and post tender meetings.
- Reviewing tender quotes received from suppliers and specialist subcontractors for compliancy and best value.
- Liaising with specialist subcontractors to ensure fully inclusive bid.
- Attending site surveys.
- Reviewing documentation for presentation.
- Following up tenders and assist with securing projects.
- Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients and supply chain.
- Attending handover meetings with the contracts team once projects are secured.
- Typical working hours 8:30am – 5pm

The Ideal Candidate:
- Will have at least 5+ years’ experience working as a Mechanical Estimator
- Will have previous experience working on commercial projects worth upwards of £5m
- Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Will have excellent communication skills.
- Will be able to commute to Leicester on a weekly basis.
