Job Description
My client is a well-established IT firm who offers highly effective, reliable and affordable IT for businesses across the UK, and have been doing this since 2002. They are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated 1st/2nd Line Support Technician to join their team based in Hampshire.
The successful candidate will need to have at-least two years experience working in an IT Technician role and should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Position Requirements:
1. Manage and support the SME clients IT hardware & networks
2. Attend client sites within Hampshire, Sussex & Surrey (Pool car is provided)
3. To provide remote and telephone-based support
4. Build rapport with existing and new clients
5. Provide first class technical support to client accounts at all times
6. Ability to keep up with new technology and knowledge
Position Requirements
7. Clean Driving License – Essential
8. Ideally 2+ years experience in an IT Support role
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft server 2003 to date (Mac & Citrix preferred)
10. Able to work productively within a team of 8
11. Previous experience with supporting IT support networks and varying clients account
Position Remuneration
12. Monday to Friday
13. £26,000 – 35,000 DOE
14. Extra days holiday for length of service: 1 extra paid holiday per 2 years
15. Birthday off paid
16. Can buy up to 5 extra days holiday per year
17. 2 full volunteering days per year
18. Day off for your child s first day at school
19. 50% paid up to £100 for one off physical challenge events
20. Gym attendance is paid up to 50% per month
