Air Conditioning Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £38,000 DOE
CBW have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company. You will be responsible for carrying out small install/reactive maintenance on commercial contracts across the central belt of Scotland. More information on this excellent opportunity is below!
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
* Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
* Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
* F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
* Effective communication and customer service skills.
Salary & Benefits:
* Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience).

* Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
* Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota 1 in 7 £100 P/W.
