EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
The role will provide performance decision support and challenge to the Business Leaders and their teams on the delivery of planned business performance. Accountable for driving an outcome and customer focused culture whilst driving real performance improvements.

Your key accountabilities will include:
1. Support Water Treatment Business Leads with Performance Meetings & Discussions, facilitate weekly Business Leader Comm Cells and other performance meetings as necessary to drive County performance improvement.
2. Provide insight and analysis to support the Business Lead Financial position vs Budget and support Business leads in the annual budget build process.
3. Provide compelling analysis and insight: Analysis, insight and management support to deliver in year performance in line with the plan. Ensure that a constant lens exists on a forward looking view of business performance.
4. Work closely with the Central Finance Performance Analysts to collaboratively drive performance improvement activity across Water Treatment.
5. Ensure that the appropriate levels of controls exist to ensure compliance in performance metrics by certifying data integrity.
6. Provide information and insight as required to the planning teams for support to the multi-year planning process in targeting.
7. Travel and work at various sites / locations across the Severn Trent Water Region, attending local comm cells where required and supporting local teams
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:
8. Strong track record of taking the lead in diagnosing business issues and working with the business to deliver performance improvements.
9. Experience in effectively using SBF tools and techniques.
10. Experience in drawing sound conclusions and make suitable recommendations from data analytics / diagnostics
11. Basic knowledge and experience of health & safety regulations and practices
12. Basic understanding of the businesses strategic vision
13. Knowledge of STW operational processes.
14. Knowledge of SAP ECC and related applications:
15. Experience in performance management
16. Good analytical and diagnostic skills – forward looking not reactive. Ability to prioritise time to address the biggest needs.
17. The ability to provide real added value insight and interpretation of performance outcomes, & potential risks and opportunities. To be able to articulate and clearly frame these while guiding the recipient to the key issues & drivers.
18. Good influencing skills both at Business Leader level and front line operations. Must be able to credibly advise, guide and constructively challenge when required.
