PBS (Semco UK) are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join the Alwyn on a permanent basis Details/duties: The Electrical Supervisor will: Be the site technical focal point for his discipline and be accountable to take technical decisions when required Supervise Electrical planned, preventative and corrective maintenance Ensure SAP work orders correctly resourced within target timeframe (including those for Shutdowns) Ensure all resources (e.g. Scaffold/materials/rigging etc) are in place to allow work to be executed as per Plan Collect work permits including those for Vendors (SMC) Control relevant routine work instruction templates (ISSOW Routine templates) Deploy resources (allocate and evaluate work) to execute approved plan Ensure accuracy of tech information sheet work history / measurement points Conduct work group briefings Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations Assess overall electrical competence of relevant staff in conjunction with discipline site leader Conduct annual assessment of his personnel Engage with Electrical Technicians to discuss and support any required rota changes as a result of operational requirements Promote flexibility to Electrical Technicians to cover shutdown periods and carry out overtime Responsible for escalating Electrical Technician performance Be the site technical focal point for his discipline and be accountable to take technical decisions when required Carry out electrical activities relevant to discipline (Carry out initial investigation for breakdowns/fault finding and ensure on the job presence during major work scopes) Recommend changes to spares requirements to the to the relevant authority within the organization Assist in the commissioning of plant and equipment Carry out knowledgeable on the job technical and safety training of Electrical Technicians Be accountable of the timekeeping of his team, including assessment for overtime work in safe conditions Qualifications/Experience required: Experience in a similar position in Oil and Gas Oil and Gas Maintenance experience Prior experience of the following electrical equipment/systems: Generator units, control equipment and protection devices High-tension switchgear, HV cables, control cables and protection devices Explosion protected equipment All testing equipment, meggers, AVO’s and multimeters Testing and fault finding on HV and LV circuits Modify the settings of protection equipment for authorised changes in design The ability to read single line schematic drawings, Platform / FSO HV/LV Distribution Systems Experience in the control and use of “Safe Systems of Work” (PTW) including their procedures
