Job Title: Working Foreman / Machine Operator Tractor Driver
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced skilled and reliable Working Foreman and Tractor Driver to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading jobs, liaising with clients, operating tractors and various attachments used in sports ground maintenance and renovations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and renovating sports grounds to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Tractor Operation: Safely operate large tractors and a variety of attachments, including mowers, aerators, and seeders, to carry out sports ground maintenance tasks..
7. Renovation Work: Participate in renovation projects, such as drainage, koro'ing turfing, seeding, and topdressing, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
8. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks on tractors and attachments, reporting any issues to the maintenance team promptly.
9. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
10. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including timesheets, maintenance logs, and any other relevant documentation.
11. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, providing support and assistance as needed.
12. Customer Interaction: Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients, addressing any queries or concerns politely and effectively.
Requirements:
13. Proven experience leading a gang on a job, ensuring the work carried out is to a high standard, liaising with the client to ensure the contract is being completed to expected levels
14. Proven experience as a tractor driver, preferably in sports ground maintenance or a related field.
15. Valid UK driving license.
16. Familiarity with operating and maintaining various tractor attachments.
17. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
19. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
20. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
21. Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
