Are you a Dynamic and Enthusiastic District Nurse?
Do you want to be part of a large, diverse organisation that promotes values of being Caring, Open, Respectful, Responsible and Inclusive?
Are you passionate about care and looking for flexible working with weekly pay and NHS pension scheme membership?
Would you like the chance to earn extra money without committing to a permanent role?
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is seeking to recruit Level 6 Bank District Nurses for flexible working opportunities in Birmingham via Temporary Staffing.
These roles are required 7 days per week across Community Nursing Day Teams (0800-1800 hours), Evening Teams (1800-2230 hours), and Early Intervention Care Teams (0800-2200 hours).
If you are a District Nurse with the relevant Specialist Practitioner Qualification, have the relevant skills and experience, and want to support us in providing Best Care: Healthy Communities, take a look at the variety of roles available within BCHC Temporary Staffing.
You will be working with a variety of disciplines in the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients to ensure their independence and wellbeing.
The post holder will carry out a variety of nursing duties including assessment and care planning, including relevant referrals as part of the patient's holistic care of health needs, particularly in the areas of personal care, catheter care, bowel care, pressure area care, palliative care, wound management, diabetes, and other long-term conditions.
You will work as part of an experienced team; however, due to the nature of community working, you would work as an autonomous practitioner within the community, which includes home visits or seeing patients in clinic settings.
BCHC provides high-quality community and specialist services within Birmingham and the West Midlands. We deliver over 100 clinical services, out in people’s homes and in over 200 healthcare settings for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs, and also dental services. One of our key objectives is to be ‘a great place to work’ enabling everyone within the organisation to be the best that they can be.
