We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality.
2. Design and fabricate tooling for production operations.
3. Utilise AutoCAD and SolidWorks for creating detailed engineering drawings and models.
4. Work with logic controllers to optimise automated systems within the manufacturing environment.
5. Oversee plastics injection moulding processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement.
7. Assemble components as required, ensuring precision and quality in the final product.
8. Conduct welding operations as necessary to support manufacturing needs.
Qualifications
1. Proficient in tooling design and fabrication techniques.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
3. Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design purposes.
4. Experience working with logic controllers in an industrial context.
5. Knowledge of plastics injection moulding processes is advantageous.
6. A commitment to continuous improvement methodologies is essential.
7. Practical experience in assembling components and welding techniques will be beneficial.
