We are looking for a highly skilled teacher who is passionate about improving life chances for all to ensure positives outcomes for children and young people. As a Learning Support Teacher in Fife, you will work with school-based staff, the school leadership team and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that pupils are fully included in their school community. As a Learning Support Teacher, you will:
1. Provide short term focussed support
2. Work collaboratively with colleagues
3. Consult with a wide range of stakeholders

5. You are required to have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities which will enable you to work as a member of the school team to support pupils and families.
6. You will contribute and lead on areas school improvement.
7. You are required to demonstrate a commitment to your own professional learning through career-long professional learning activity and to be able to show how this has impacted on your practice.
8. You are required to be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) and to model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
