Assistant Management Accountant - Live Entertainment - Woking
Premium international live entertainment business passionate about entertainment, audiences, and the live experience are looking for Part Qualified Management Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) studying towards these.
Responsibilities and duties include:
1. Prepare the monthly management accounts (full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and cashflow), variance & commentary
2. Prepare the monthly journals for the monthly imagine management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
3. Maintaining the fixed asset register (including sets, costumes and special effects).
4. Prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and all control accounts and reviewing the accruals and prepayments to make sure that these are released correctly in the correct months.
5. Assist the Production Management accountant with show reporting - to provide weekly cost reports to the senior management team.
6. Assist the Production Management Accountant with the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts.
7. Assist with the year end Audit process for Imagine, responding to audit queries that come in via the EY client portal on a timely basis to deadlines.
8. Prepare the annual Theatre Tax Relief (TTR) calculation with back up, ready for submission to the accountants
9. Assist with any queries in preparing the annual statutory accounts.
