As a wet room fitter, you will be expected to install a wet room covering all aspects of the installation in line with the governments DFG project. Furthermore, you will also be undertaking responsive, routine repairs and void repairs to social housing and corporate assets stock, and from time-to-time support other maintenance contracts as required when demand requires.
We are seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Bathroom/Wet Room Fitter to join our team. Applicants must have relevant plumbing qualifications (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) and broad experience in their core trade, particularly in the social housing environment, and would be advantageous to have additional experience and capability to complete other maintenance tasks.
The applicant must be competent in tiling, Plumbing alterations to suit the new layout of the Bathroom/Wet room and be able to carry out general carpentry i.e. boxing in pipe work, installing a curtain batten etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Full installations of wet rooms including; Installing tuff form and braddon trays (including the preparation work involved), ceramic wall tiling, basic carpentry skills i.e. boxing of pipe work, stud work and over boarding floors and non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given).
